On the April of 24, the seventh donor campaign was held in the agro-technological holding company «Bizon», organized jointly with the Union of Machine Builders of Russia and the blood transfusion station of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia in Rostov-on-Don. 36 employees took part in the corporate Donor Day, helping to prepare 16.2 liters of blood.
Volunteers donated 450 milliliters of blood for medical purposes, which, according to doctors, can be life-saving for someone at the right moment. Almost all of them already had experience donating, but there were also four newcomers. A total of 60 applications were submitted to participate in the donor campaign.
Our employees have been donating blood together for four years. During seven corporate donor days, we replenished the city’s blood bank by 142 liters. Most of the volunteers became donors by participating in the company’s campaigns. Many of them now donate blood and its components regularly, including independently.
The employees of the agro-technological holding «Bizon» dedicated their collective blood donation to the National Blood Donor Day of Russia, which is celebrated in our country on April 20. We invite all caring people to join the ranks of blood donors.
